What it is:
This ministry is responsible for the following areas:
Maintaining the church building. This involves addressing ongoing maintenance issues with the church infrastructure such as boiler repairs, repairing/replacing exterior lighting, replacing the rear power assist door with a power-opening door.
Maintaining the church grounds. This includes working with the landscape contractor, supporting and assisting the church garden committee that plants, mulches and weeds the gardens. This committee includes the "Wednesday Weeders" which are church volunteers that weed the gardens every Wednesday afternoon.
Conducting the annual Every Member Canvas which secures pledges from the congregation that provides the operating funds for the church budget.
Conducting Capital Campaigns to cover the cost of major capital projects for the church. The capital campaign is done when there is a need to address capital needs of the church. Currently we are working on two projects-- tuckpointing sections of the church building and repairing the parking lot.
